Dry Comal Creek Vineyards is located in a small protected valley nestled in the Texas Hill Country, where the rich alluvial soil, laced with limestone, flint and shale chips, provides ideal growing conditions for the grapes they use. Dry Comal wines and vines receive personal care and tending combined with a labor-intensive handmade approach to picking, fermentation, winemaking and bottling. This produces a very personal result in their wines. The winery can seat up to 100 people for dinner on their covered patio and can accommodate 40 people inside their banquet room.

Dry Comal Creek currently produces thirteen varieties of wine, including two recently released wines. One of the recent additions is the 2006 Sauvignon Blanc. A pure Sauvignon Blanc, this vintage is full of citrus and freshly mowed hay aromas. It is crisp and slightly sweet with a smooth yet bold finish, and remarkable with any spicy food. Second is the new White Black Spanish. This light red is made from Black Spanish grapes from Texas and French Colombard grapes from California. This is a most unusual wine – demi-sweet, fruity, smooth and drinkable any time with anything. It has become one of their best selling wines, and for a reason.
